Most high school students want to attend college, recognizing that higher education is the most direct path to success in their future. College, whether community or four-year, provides opportunities to explore talents and develop leadership skills they can use to participate more fully in adult life—at home, at work, and in their communities.

Couple this with the understanding that as they look to their family's heritage with the help of their oldest living relatives, they discover the customs, practices and traditions of their ancestors. They learn about the ambitions and fears of their forefathers along with their failures and triumphs. In the process of learning their family history they uncover their past, understand their present and shape their future.

This year, we are pleased to announced the Earl E. McKee Memorial Scholarship.
